Fabry Disease (Rare Lysosomal Disease)
Galafold is the first and only oral therapy for Fabry disease — a rare, inherited condition with complex genetic underpinnings that are often difficult for patients to grasp. The campaign needed to explain a scientifically intricate disease state in a way that felt clear, approachable, and grounded in real life. Through thoughtful visual metaphors, warm photography, and simplified scientific graphics, the brand helped patients understand how Fabry affects the body and what long-term treatment could look like.
The identity was brought to life across digital experiences, patient stories, educational materials, and in-office resources — all unified by a design system that balanced scientific accuracy with an inviting, human tone. The result was a cohesive brand expression that made a rare and overwhelming condition feel more navigable and supported.
Tactics: Staged-approach website, library of educational print pieces, MOA videos, patient ambassador photoshoot, patient story videos, in-office educational materials, mailers and patient kits.
